UMA ENGLISH THREE



  • There was a river.
  • A sweet fruits tree was on the bank of the river.
  • A monkey lived on that tree.
  • It used to enjoy eating those fruits.
  • There was a crocodile in the river.
  • One day, the crocodile came near the tree.
  • It ate some fruits there.
  • It saw the monkey.
  • It asked the monkey to put some more sweet fruits.
  • The monkey  did.
  • The crocodile started coming daily.
  • They became good friends.
  • One day, the crocodile took some fruits home.
  • It gave to its wife.
  • The wife was very happy.
  • She asked the crocodile about the monkey and the fruits.
  • She wanted to kill and eat the monkey's heart .
  • She asked the crocodile to invite the monkey to their house for a feast.
  • The crocodile went and invited the monkey to come to their house for dinner.
  • The monkey accepted the invitation.
  • It sat on the back of the crocodile.
  • They both were in the middle of the river.
  • The monkey asked the crocodile the reason for the dinner.
  • The crocodile told that his wife wanted to have the monkey's heart for dinner.
  • The monkey thought for a while.
  • It immediately asked the crocodile to go back to the tree.
  • The monkey told the crocodile that he left his heart for drying in the sun.
  • The crocodile came near the tree.
  • The monkey at once jumped and climbed the tree.
  • It did not come back.
  • The crocodile waited and waited.
  • The monkey did not come down from the tree.
  • The crocodile asked the monkey why was he hesitating.
  • The monkey replied and said
  • """ You fool, do you think  
  • anyone can live without the heart?""
  • "" Go from here and never come back."""
  • moral: A known enemy is better than a foolish friend.""
